Courses – English Gateway

At English Gateway, we offer a structured, self-directed learning programme designed to build real-world confidence and fluency in English. Our courses follow a five-level system (A1 to C1), providing a clear and motivating learning path from beginner to advanced.

Each course is engaging, interactive, and student-led, with a strong focus on speaking, pronunciation, and fluency - not just grammar rules.

All learning takes place within small, supportive learning hubs, where students work in teams, help one another, and use digital tools to track their progress and showcase their creativity.

• Students learn independently using activity-based course books

• They build their own Google Site to upload work, videos, and projects

• They use Canva to create visual content and presentations

• They collaborate in small groups, practising real communication

• A trained facilitator guides the process and keeps students on track

Our Five-Level Course Structure

A1 – Beginner
🔹 Learn basic greetings, personal information, and simple conversations
🔹 Build essential vocabulary and everyday phrases
🔹 Focus on pronunciation of common words

A2 – Elementary
🔹 Improve sentence structure and express simple ideas
🔹 Practice daily conversations on topics like shopping, food and travel
🔹 Introduction to diphthongs and phonetics

B1 – Intermediate
🔹 Gain confidence in discussing experiences, hopes and ambitions
🔹 Expand vocabulary for work, social life and travel
🔹 Learn intonation, connected speech and sentence stress

B2 – Upper Intermediate
🔹 Express opinions, give presentations, and engage in debates
🔹 Improve fluency through storytelling, role plays and discussions
🔹 Focus on advanced pronunciation and natural speech patterns

C1 – Advanced
🔹 Master complex discussions, idioms and professional English
