🧭 How It Works – Your English Gateway Journey

Welcome to English Gateway – a self-directed, confidence-building English learning programme that combines modern tools, creativity, and teamwork in a unique learning hub environment.

All students begin their journey with a dedicated Induction Week, followed by a structured course flow through levels A1 to C1.

🗓️ Week 1: Induction & Digital Setup

The first week is all about orientation and setting up your learning tools.

During this week, you’ll be guided step by step to:

✔️ Create a new Google Account
✔️ Build your personal Google Site – your digital portfolio to upload videos, assignments, stories, and completed books
✔️ Register for a Canva account – for creative projects, presentations, and posters
✔️ Create a ChatGPT account – to help with English practice, vocabulary building, and project support (training provided)

All training is delivered in a simple, easy-to-follow way. No tech experience needed, just motivation and curiosity!

📘 Course Structure

Each student follows the English Gateway five-level programme (A1–C1) at their own pace, guided by a trained facilitator.

✅ Work through interactive digital course books
✅ Join small group learning sessions at your local hub
✅ Record videos, do roleplays, and create Canva presentations
✅ Upload everything to your Google Site as you progress

Facilitators don’t teach in the traditional sense:  they guide, support, and ensure students stay motivated and on track.

🧪 Assessment & Certification

Once a student completes all required course content for a level, they can book a formal assessment through English Gateway HQ.

Here’s what the assessment includes:

📝 Written & Listening Review – submitted and marked online
🌐 Google Site Review – a full review of your portfolio
🎤 Speaking Assessment – a live Google Meet session with an assessor

💳 A small fee of $10 is charged for the assessment & certification
🎓 Upon passing, students receive an official diploma issued by English Gateway Limited (UK Registered)

Certificates are awarded for each level – A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1 – and can be used for work, study, or personal development.

🌍 Your Learning Hub Community

Learning takes place in small local hubs equipped with 3–4 computers. Students learn in groups, help each other, and build confidence through regular speaking practice and collaboration.

This model is designed to make high-quality English education affordable, empowering, and community-focused – especially for those who don’t have access to traditional classes.
